If you get bit by a dog there are some important things you should do to protect yourself.
Quickly write down what you see about the dog

If a dog is biting you and ragging its head from side to side then throw something over its head, like a towel or jumper, it'll confuse the dog and it'll let go. If a dog bites and holds then push into the bite and the dog should release. Obviously you'll still need treatment but your injury may not be as bad as it could have been.
